Opening of Harmony Centre - Ranong

Blessing of the Harmony Centre, Ranong, Thailand:    Bénédiction du Centre Harmony, Ranong, Thaïlande :

During an interreligious and intercultural celebration on 10 June, the Marist Harmony Centre in Ranong was blessed in the presence of many faithful and their religious leaders, the Muslim Imam, Buddhist Monks and Catholic priests and also other civil authorities.

The Centre envisions harmony in cultural and religious diversity in Ranong and beyond. Its mission is to create a space for dialogue, mutual respect, justice, reconciliation and peace. The Harmony Centre will be the venue where the interreligious and intercultural dialogue encounters, meetings, workshops, trainings and other related activities will be conducted in the awareness that diversity enriches community.

The initial support for this work came from Fr Paul Glyn's Trust Foundation, and the development of the Centre has since been supported by many others, including the GA.

Le 10 juin [2022], lors d'une célébration interreligieuse et interculturelle, le Centre mariste Harmonie (Marist Harmony Centre) à Ranong a été béni en présence de nombreux fidèles et de leurs responsables religieux, de l'Imam, de moines et de prêtres catholiques, ainsi que d'autres autorités civiles.

Le Centre vise à l'harmonie dans la diversité culturelle et religieuse à Ranong et au delà. Il a pour mission de créer un espace pour le dialogue, le respect mutuel, la justice, la réconciliation et la paix.

Le Centre Harmonie sera le lieu où se tiendront les rencontres pour le dialogue interreligieux et interculturel, les réunions, les ateliers, les formations et autres activités connexes, avec la conviction que la diversité enrichit la communauté.

C'est la Trust Foundation du père Paul Glynn qui fut à l'origine de cette œuvre ; depuis, le développement du centre a reçu l'appui de plusieurs autres entités, y compris l'administration
