JOURNÉE NATIONALE DU SPORT ET DU HANDICAP - LYON / NATIONAL DAY OF SPORT AND DISABILITY

Jeudi 23 mars : pour la mi‐carême, le site de Meyzieu a accueilli des étudiants en STAPS et des jeunes en situation de handicap pour vivre une journée festive à l'occasion de la Journée Nationale du Sport et du Handicap (JNSH). Cette journée a pour objet de sensibiliser au handicap et de promouvoir le sport adapté, qui permet d'intégrer les personnes en situation de handicap. L'accessibilité brise les barrières sociales et lutte contre l'isolement.

Thursday 23 March: for mid-Lent, the Meyzieu site welcomed STAPS students and young people with disabilities for a festive day on the occasion of the National Day for Sport and Disability (JNSH). The aim of this day is to raise awareness of disability and to promote adapted sport, which enables the integration of people with disabilities. Accessibility breaks down social barriers and fights against isolation.

Nous avons accueilli des enfants des Instituts Médico‐ Educatifs (IME) de Meyzieu, « Les Coquelicots » et de Décines « L'oiseau blanc ». Les élèves ont pu découvrir des Activités physiques adaptées aux handicaps : cécifoot ou torball, hand‐fauteuil, baskin, parcours aveugle, parcours fauteuil, vélo adapté, passe à dix adaptée, volley assis…

We welcomed children from the Instituts Médico-Educatifs (IME) of Meyzieu, "Les Coquelicots" and Décines "L'oiseau blanc". The pupils were able to discover physical activities adapted to disabilities: cecifoot (foot-ball) for the visually impaired) or torball, (a fast-moving team game for the visually impaired) wheelchair handball, baskin, blind course, wheelchair course, adapted bicycle, adapted ten-man pass, seated volleyball...

 Merci à Olivier Cressens, de l'Association Killian, pour avoir animé le stand « vélo adapté » et fait une nouvelle démonstration de OMA1. Merci aussi aux étudiants de STAPS de s'être rendus disponibles pour animer cette journée : Tanguy, Aloïs, Hyppolite, Bryan, Joey, Collin, Sonia, Rémi, Loris… Un remerciement tout particulier à Manon qui a préparé l'évènement avec sa mère, Adeline.
